Trouble rears its ugly head, though, when his former sexpot girlfriend (now an ex-con) and her crooked boyfriend come looking for blackmail. The wedding scene is a hoot!  Statten's opening moments as she flirts with Kidd after his graduation from night school are amazingly seductive.  A powerful music score embellishes some great scenes.  Lots of sleazy fun.
