    John Ford's Sergeant Rutledge

    A Black Buffalo soldier (Strode) is accused of strangulation and rape of a young white girl and is defended by Army Lieutenant (Hunter) and helped by a woman Constance Tower to clear him of the charges. Western was released in 1960 and was controversial for having a black actor as the main lead. Great performances by all and the technicolor scenery looks beautiful on Blu-ray Disc.
