Movie Zyng FAQs
Products, Formats & Authenticity
What formats does Movie Zyng sell?
We carry officially licensed DVDs, Blu-rays, and 4K UHD; new releases; classics; indie films; TV; and the harder-to-find catalog titles collectors actually hunt for. Always check the product page to confirm the format before you order.
Are Movie Zyng products authentic?
Always. Every title we ship is an authentic, officially licensed physical-media release, sourced through the studios and their authorized distribution partners.
Are product images final, or can artwork and packaging change?
The product image reflects what we expect to ship. Once in a while a studio updates cover art or packaging after a title is listed; it's rare, but it happens.
Stock, Availability & Pre-orders
Are the products on the website in stock, and what does “in stock” mean?
“In stock” means the title is either sitting in our warehouse right now or manufactured on demand the moment you order. In-stock items usually ship the same or next business day when you order before 10:00 a.m. Central. Big promotions, holidays, and the occasional inventory surprise can add a little processing time.
How do pre-orders work?
A pre-order locks in a title before its release date. When stock arrives on schedule, we ship pre-orders up to 6 days early so they land on or close to release day. Release dates come from the studios and can shift.
When am I charged for a pre-order?
Every Movie Zyng order, preorders included, is charged when the order is placed.
Is the pre-order price protected if the price changes?
Yes. We hold a steady 10% discount through a title's pre-order window and don't move that price on you.
What happens if my order contains both in-stock and pre-order items?
We ship orders complete. If you mix in-stock items with pre-orders, the whole order waits until every piece is ready. Want the in-stock titles sooner? Place them as their own order, separate from your pre-orders.
What happens if my order has pre-orders with different release dates?
The full order ships once the latest release date arrives. If you'd rather have each title show up near its own date, place them as separate orders. We're not able to combine or split orders once they're placed.
Can a limited edition be cancelled due to allocation shortages?
It's extremely rare, but a limited-edition order can occasionally be cancelled if studio stock falls short. If that ever happens, we'll let you know and refund the item.
What happens if an item in my order becomes unavailable after I order?
If something can't ship after you've ordered, we'll refund that item no chasing required.
Are replacement discs supplied when a studio announces a disc-replacement program?
Studios run their own disc-replacement programs, and each one works a little differently. Reach out and we'll point you to the right process for that title.
Shipping & Delivery
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping depends on the titles, total weight, destination, and the delivery method you pick. Add items to your cart to see the exact cost before checkout. Box sets and heavier orders run a bit more than single discs.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders in the continental U.S. arrive in about 3–9 business days after shipping when USPS Media Mail is selected. Alaska, Hawaii, international, and remote spots can take longer. Estimates are estimates, not guarantees.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. We email a shipping confirmation with tracking the moment your order leaves the warehouse. Give it a business day or two to go live in the carrier's system.
Does Movie Zyng ship internationally?
Yes to many destinations. You'll see the available countries, delivery methods, and charges at checkout. International orders may owe VAT, customs duties, taxes, or carrier fees set by your own country; those aren't included unless checkout says so.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Can I cancel an order?
If your order hasn't gone to the warehouse yet, we can usually cancel it. Once it's in process at the warehouse, it's locked in. Reach out as fast as you can and we'll check.
Can I combine or split existing orders?
No, once orders are placed, we can't combine or split them.
Returns, Damage & Missing Items
Can I return an item?
Unopened titles in their original shrink wrap can come back within 30 days of the ship date. Email customerservice@moviezyng.com with your order number first, and we'll send return authorization and instructions. Return shipping is usually the customer's unless the item showed up damaged, defective, or wrong, in which case it's on us.
What should I do if an item arrives damaged or defective?
Email customerservice@moviezyng.com within five days of delivery with your order number, the title, and clear photos of the problem and the packaging. We'll sort out the right replacement, refund, or fix, and when a return is needed, we cover it with a prepaid label.
What if the case arrives cracked but the disc plays fine?
Whatever your order ships in, our customer guarantee covers shipping damage. If it arrives banged up, tell us and we'll take care of it.
What if a disc freezes, skips, or won't play?
Contact customerservice@moviezyng.com and we'll get a replacement on the way.
Are opened, defective discs eligible for replacement?
Yes. Defective discs are covered under our customer guarantee, opened or not.
What if an item is missing or I received the wrong product?
Email customerservice@moviezyng.com with your order number and the details. Hang on to the shipping box, packing materials, and packing slip until it's resolved.
Packaging & Disc Condition
How are one- and two-disc orders packaged?
Single-disc orders may ship in a protective mylar mailer; two-disc orders go in a bubble mailer. Whatever the packaging, our customer guarantee covers shipping damage; if it arrives damaged, contact us and we'll make it right.
Are slipcovers guaranteed when they're pictured?
Every title ships in a traditional retail case with printed wrap art, just like the shelf. A “slipcover” usually means an O-card or outer sleeve that's part of collectible packaging. Some titles include it; some don't. When a title has it, we typically note it in the description, the special-features section, or the product image.
Playback, Regions & Digital Codes
How do I know a disc's format or region?
Check the product page before you order; it lists the format and any region details. If the region or format isn't clearly shown, email customerservice@moviezyng.com before ordering. When the product page clearly states the region, playback compatibility is the customer's call.
Will an imported disc work in a U.S. player?
U.S. DVD players read Region 1 and region-free (Region 0 / “all regions”) discs. U.S. Blu-ray players read Region A and region-free discs. We rarely carry imports, but if you're unsure about a specific title, ask us before ordering.
Are digital-copy codes included, and do they work?
Some titles include a digital-copy code, noted on the product page. The studio issues these, so redemption and expiration are set by them. We expect them to work, and if one doesn't, contact us and we'll help.
Pricing & Promotions
Can promotional codes be combined?
Usually not; codes don't stack. Some promotions are already discounted enough that they exclude extra codes. Any exception will be spelled out in the offer.
Does Movie Zyng offer price adjustments or price matching after purchase?
As a rule, we can't adjust the price after purchase, and we don't offer price matching. We'd rather give you strong service at a fair price from the start.
How long does a refund take?
We process approved refunds within about 2–3 business days of confirming the request. Your bank or card issuer may take a little longer to post it to your account.
