1. Cheyenne (DVD)

Clint Walker starred in this landmark Western TV series which was the first hit produced by Warner Bros. Television beginning in 1955. This complete series release features every episode aired during the series’ seven-season run, all created from 4K scans of the original negatives. Handsomely packaged, the Blu-ray set was revelatory to generations of the series’ many fans who welcomed its release.

2. Executive Suite (Blu-ray)

M-G-M pulled out all the stops for this boardroom drama with an all-star cast including William Holden, Fredric March, Barbara Stanwyck, June Allyson, Walter Pidgeon, and Shelley Winters. With legendary screenwriter Ernest Lehman adapting a novel by Cameron Hawley, and stunning direction from the great Robert Wise, the film was given a ground-up restoration from 4K scans of the original camera negative.

3. Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Blu-ray)

Rex Ingram’s box-office blockbuster made a star of its leading man, Rudolph Valentino, and provided Metro Pictures with its biggest screen success. In 1993, Photoplay productions gave the film a meticulous photochemical restoration and added a stunning orchestral score by the great Carl Davis. Our Blu-ray release utilized the newest technologies to bring this timeless anti-war parable into the 21st century with the results being a jaw-dropping disc that is requisite for any collector of silent-era motion pictures.

4. Gabriel Over the White House (Blu-ray)

Director Gregory LaCava (Stage Door) helmed this political allegory starring Walter Huston. This is the kind of film that brings us so much pleasure to create a new disc presentation that helps the contemporary viewer immerse themselves in a film that most people have never heard of but cries out for rediscovery.

5. The Hard Way (Blu-ray)

Ida Lupino gives a bravura performance as a power-driven woman dedicated to helping her younger sister (Joan Leslie) become a stage star…at any cost. Another 4K restoration from the original camera negative, the cast (which also includes Dennis Morgan and Jack Carson) is given their moments to shine on the screen, under the superb direction of Vincent Sherman.

6. Intruder In the Dust (Blu-ray)

This MGM production is an outstanding adaptation of William Faulkner’s impressive and still-timely novel about racial prejudice in the deep South. Director Clarence Brown went on location in Mississippi to bring a realistic tone to the storytelling, which features strong performances by David Brian, Claude Jarman, Jr., and the amazing Juano Hernandez. A film that demands to be seen, and needs to be better known, is a testament to the filmmakers who courageously made this film at a time when social consciousness was a subject that Hollywood avoided at the time of production. Once see, INTRUDER will not soon be forgotten.

7. Lili (Blu-ray)

It is always an exciting opportunity for Warner Archive when we are working with original Technicolor negatives, and one of the multiple Technicolor restorations undertaken in 2025 was MGM’s box-office sleeper LILI starring Leslie Caron. This unique film, meticulously choreographed and directed by Charles Walters, was a surprise hit for the studio, which was the studio’s biggest success of that year. The film was nominated for 6 Oscars, winning one for Best Musical Score. The new Warner Archive disc delighted fans of the film and is perfect entertainment for audiences of all ages.

8. Rhapsody In Blue (Blu-ray)

The life story of the great composer George Gershwin inspired Warner Bros. to create a film which would celebrate Gershwin’s incredible musical achievements. The studio cast newcomer Robert Alda as Gershwin, with the unforgettable Oscar Levant playing himself as George Gershwin’s best friend, as he was in life. The film is highlighted by dozens of Gershwin’s most beloved songs, with notable performances from Al Jolson (who introduced Gershwin’s first hit song, “Swannee”) and Anne Brown, the original star of Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess performing that show’s most unforgettable song “Summertime.” The Warner Archive Blu-ray release restores the film to its original pre-release version with over 12 minutes of footage thought lost, which had been removed from the film before its theatrical release.

9 . Splendor In the Grass (Blu-ray)

Elia Kazan directed this original screenplay by William Inge with Natalie Wood starring as a teenage girl grappling with romance and sexual tension, with Warren Beatty making his big-screen debut as the young man who is the center of her universe. With the Inge story set in 1928, the repressive attitudes of that period set the stage for torment and heartbreak, unforgettably constructed by Inge and Kazan as a magnetic tour-de-force for everyone involved. The Blu-ray disc’s presentation is stellar, coming from a 4K scan of the original camera negative, and supported by the outstanding1995 documentary ELIA KAZAN: A DIRECTOR’S JOURNEY.

10. They Died With Their Boots On (Blu-ray)

Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland starred together for the eighth and final time in this Raoul Walsh classic take on the life and legend of General George Armstrong Custer. With a strong screenplay that fictionalizes the events leading up to Custer at the Battle of Little Big Horn, this is a historical action/adventure that was a hit with audiences and critics alike. The Warner Archive Blu-ray represents Walsh’s original cut of the film, with additional footage removed from the film just before its theatrical release.
