    Yesterday
Long-awaited noir finally released on Blu-ray.

And it has finally been released by Warner Archive with great refinement: a 4k restoration of the original camera negative, a rarity for RKO films, whose collection has been quite mistreated over time. The result is a pristine, meticulously restored image that makes it seem like I'm watching the film for the first time, even though I've done so countless times. Cannot praise this release highly enough. Many thanks, Warner Archive, for such a wonderful disc!

    NEVER DERAILS

“The Narrow Margin” is a taut, exhilarating thriller. At a lean 71 minutes, it moves with remarkable speed, packing in enough suspense and sharp plot turns to keep you fully engaged while never leaving you uncertain about the story’s structure or the characters’ motivations. It stands as one of RKO’s finest noirs—tight, gritty, and endlessly rewatchable. A film well worth owning and returning to.

    Classic Noir, finally on blu-ray

THE NARROW MARGIN is another of those Hollywood productions that work almost like "magic'', making you feel you're aboard a moving train for most of the running time. A strong sense of danger in the claustrophobic setting makes this one of the best thrillers of its time. Sharp dialog and memorable characters are a big plus too. Not to be missed, Warner Archive used the original camera negative in this case, so it really looks amazing!
