A&E -- Intervention: Episode 22: Annie And Amy

Annie is anorexic and bulimic, but she doesn't look the part. Annie is an average weight for her build, but her addiction is dangerous and desperate. Annie's purging occurs daily either by vomiting or laxative abuse. Annie's eating disorders consume not only her life, but her fiance Kevin's. Kevin contacted Intervention because he's afraid that she will die from her eating disorders. Amy was a popular "trendsetter." At 16, Amy was sexually molested. According to Amy, "everything went downhill from there." To deal with the pain and confusion of her experience, Amy turned to drugs and cutting. Now, Amy lives on park benches with her boyfriend Tom. Her mother reached out to Intervention as her last hope.
