When a European diplomat is named ambassador to the United States; he relocates to Washington; D.C.; with his niece; Princess Maria; where he hopes she'll meet an eligible American bachelor. On a side trip by plane to San Francisco; Maria takes a tranquilizer to settle her nerves; passes out in mid-flight; and is out for hours.
