Random Harvest

Random Harvest was released the same year as Greer Garson's other huge hit, Mrs. Miniver. Even though she would win the Oscar for Mrs. Miniver, Garson always said Random Harvest was her favorite of her films - I agree with her assessment. Ronald Colman and she make a great pair, and this was a massive hit for MGM. The remastering is stellar, as is typical of the Warner Archive. Let this film take you back to the golden age of romance.

Ronald Colman and Greer Garson are a class act but it is Greer Garson and her performance that take this to a whole new level. You really feel her pain and the agony of her torment.

Based on James Hilton’s novel, this is classic golden age cinema! They simply just don’t make them like this anymore!
