Skyscraper Souls (Blu-ray)

For a picture as cold-blooded and pre-coded as this, there is an awful lot of pratfalls (ably handled by the future director Norman Foster) but you need a few laughs and it all moves along swiftly and builds to a series of shockers. Great cast, shot entirely in skyscraper offices. Keep an eye out for the mysterious Helen Coburn as the consciounceless Myra. This is the only film Coburn ever appeared in and she holds her own with a versatile, very experienced cast. The disc is up to Warner Archive's high standards.
