The 7th Voyage of Sinbad

If you're reading this, you presumably know whether you like this movie or not. It's a cheesy, Hollywood-ized version of the Arabian Nights with good-looking, competent, B-list actors.

The real attraction, of course, is the groundbreaking stop-motion animation by Ray Harryhausen, and rest assured, it looks great here. This new transfer is sharp and clear and the colors are gorgeous. If anything, the clarity makes some of the special-effects shots look a little more obvious (i.e. when there's a human actor and an animated figure in the same shot), but you're seeing it the way it was meant to be seen, warts and all.

I love it, and would love to pick up additional Harryhausen classics on 4K in the future.
