Both films have been remastered in High-Definition for this special release of a timeless tale.

    3 Godfathers

    This is an outstanding release from Warner Archive, with both the 1948 film and the 1936 film, Three Godfathers, included. The picture quality is outstanding on the later film and stellar on the earlier picture. Highly recommended and great value.

    John Ford Masterpiece

    It may not have been the first cinematic rodeo for this story, but John Ford's telling of 3 Godfathers is surely the best, a beautifully acted, Christmas-tinged western shot in gorgeous 3-strip technicolor. This Warner Archive release looks stunning, and even includes the 1936 version, which is also very good.

    Classic John Wayne and John Ford movie. Excellent restoration from Warner Archive

    This is one of John Wayne's best movies in my opinion. He plays one in a a group of 3 outlaws who risk their freedom in order to ensure that a newborn baby is returned to civilization. The audio and visual quality is simply exquisite. Warner Archive has truly delivered on this release. 3 Godfathers has never looked better. The colour palate looks truly amazing and the audio quality is pristine. John Ford directs this western with a very solid hand. Highly recommended.
