Vern Walsh (Robert Young, TV's "Father Knows Best") is a big city publisher distraught by the news that his ex-wife, Jackie (Barbara Hale, TV's "Perry Mason"), is about to get remarried. However, Jackie faints as she walks down the aisle, leading to the discovery that she is pregnant with Vern's child. What follows is a series of escapades in which Vern tries to get Jackie back, while she realizes Vern isn't the man she thought he was.
