When a group of non-violent criminals are taken to the woods as part of a progressive rehabilitation program to reduce their sentences, it seems like nothing can go wrong. Little do they know, a group of mad scientists led by Dr. Trask have released insane killer Freddy Palmer into the very same woods to study his violent activity. As the masked Freddy descends upon the group wielding his trusty axe, Cassie Johnson must lead her fellow inmates in a battle for their lives. Will anyone survive the madness?
