Reginald Denny was a professional boxer and aviator before making it big as a silent film star. He appeared in numerous classic movies of the 1930s and 1940s, including John Cromwell's Of Human Bondage (1934) and Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca (1940). The slinky and seductive Natalie Moorhead began her career at the start of the talkie era and was cast in films such as Women Men Marry (1931) and The Thin Man (1934). Irish-born Edwin Maxwell first performed on Broadway and eventually appeared as sleazy lawyers in notable films such as Scarface (1932) and His Girl Friday (1940). Director Albert Ray began working in the film industry during its New York heyday and transferred to Hollywood at the end of the 1910s. His work includes numerous shorts as well as the Ginger Roger's features The Thirteenth Guest (1932) and A Shriek in the Night (1933).
