Discarded Lovers

Reporter Bob Adair is on the set of Irma Gladden's latest movie when the beautiful actress is brutally murdered. Irma has left a slew of double-crossed, abandoned lovers behind, all of whom would love to see her dead. The police investigators are stumped until Bob has a brainstorm - the clue that reveals Gladden's killer is hidden in the final outtakes filmed just before her demise.

Jason Robards, father of the Academy Award winning actor, went from a successful stage career to motion pictures, beginning in the silent era with The Gilded Lily (1921). He would appear in over 100 films, mostly playing heavies, with the 1961 Elvis feature, Wild In The Country, his final screen appearance. Blonde vamp, Natalie Moorhead, appeared in dozens of movies, most notably The Thin Man (1934), Hook, Line And Sinker (1930) and Bedroom, Parlor and Bath (1931), continuing to work well into the 1940s.
