Forest Of The Deep (DVD)

Every day hundreds of creatures live and play in the pristine waters of California's spectacular Channel Islands. But El Nino's warm temperatures and raging storms the worst in more than 15 years cast a wave of destruction over this remarkable life-giving kelp forest and its inhabitants. See powerful currents uproot underwater kelp plants up to 100 feet in length. Witness elephant seals and their defenseless pups as they are taken out to sea by the relentless waters. Then find signs of renewal and life as the kelp forest recovers from the violence. Be there to discover the dramatic untold story of El Nino's devastating effects on the marine plants and animals of southern California's magnificent coastal islands.
