A few years after the Holocaust, the capture of Nazi war criminal, Adolf Eichmann, had set the myth of the Israeli Mossad -- Israel's foreign intelligence agency. Mossad agents were perceived as larger-than-life, inglorious bastards who would do anything, even recruit ex-Nazi commanders, in order to obliterate the enemy.
