Johnny Mysto: Boy Wizard

Johnny Mysto dreams of being the world's greatest magician, the only problem is that he is not very good at magic. This is until a chance encounter with Blackmoor the Magician who gives Johnny a magical ring from eighth century England that bestows its wearer with great powers of magic. When a disappearing trick with his brother proves a little too successful and transports him back 1200 years, Johnny must not only rescue him, but settle an ancient dispute among feuding warriors in ancient England.
