King of the Sierras

Ahead of its time for advocating protection of nature's creatures, King of the Sierras offers a unique perspective from the point of view of wild horses. A rancher relates the story of the wild mustang Diablo as he roams the high country, fighting for dominance of the herd and trying to avoid capture by his worst natural enemy - man.

Screen legend Hobart Bosworth was a major Hollywood star, producer and director in the early silent era. During the '30s, he appeared in Cecil B. DeMille's The Crusades, Frank Capra's Lady for a Day, and John Ford's Steamboat Round the Bend.
