Law Commands

In the dead of night, terrifying, threatening notes are left at the homes of prairie settlers. Cabins are burned, and families murdered in their beds as a secret conspirator seeks to grab the land in Johnson County. Knowing that the settlers are unable to fight against the vicious land sharks, Dr. Kenton offers a novel solution - to appoint a land claims court to settle disputes.

On the association's opening day, the president of the court is assassinated on his way to the courthouse, and the Doctor is blamed for his death. With the town turning against him, Kenton remains dedicated to law and order, and is determined to uncover the identity of the mastermind responsible for the killings.

The Law Commands was directed by veteran William Nigh and starred Western hero Tom Keene, whose final screen appearance was in Edward D. Wood, Jr.'s Plan 9 From Outer Space.
