The Lone Rider in Frontier Fury (1941):
Tom Cameron is framed for the murder of rancher Jim Bowen. To clear his name, he befriends Bowen's niece Georgia, who has inherited her uncle's property. But the girl is secretly in cahoots with the real killer. Without realizing it, the Lone Rider has walked into a deadly trap.
The Lone Rider in Frontier Fury features the statuesque Hillary Brooke, best known as straight woman to Abbott and Costello in their syndicated television series The Abbott and Costello Show (1952-1954) as well as two of their motion pictures, Africa Screams (1949) and Abbott and Costello Meet Captain Kidd (1952). Also appearing in a villainous role is Arch Hall. In the 1960s, he produced a series of cult classics starring his son, B-movie teen idol Arch Hall, Jr.
PLUS: Trapped in the Badlands (1941): Tom Cameron discovers that he is a dead ringer for Keno Harris, an imprisoned crook who stole $100,000. With Keno unwilling to reveal the location of the stolen loot, the Lone Rider takes his place in the bandit's old gang. But Tom will have to think fast when the real Keno escapes from jail, looking for his money. This film was also released under the name The Lone Rider Ambushed.
