The story is set in 1978 on the Istranca Mountains of Thracia. Known as a healer by the villagers, Cennet's humble and quiet life is changed when she runs into a stranger, Ertan, covered in blood in the garden which she calls "Secret Garden". Killing several people in a skirmish with law enforcement, Ertan has been shot while escaping.
