Man in the Wilderness (Blu-ray)

Nothing will stop him now. Not the winter's bitter cold. Not the knife-like stabs of hunger. Brutally wounded mountain man Zachary Bass (Richard Harris), left for dead by his furtrapping partners, somehow pushes on. And he's driven by one of the most relentless powers in all nature: revenge. In Man in the Wilderness, Harris (Unforgiven) recaptures the ferocity and heroism of his A Man Called Horse. Bass makes a 600-mile journey of vengeance across the 1820s American Northwest -- facing every obstacle with a savagery greater than the untamed wilds. Two-time Oscar winner John Huston* plays Captain Henry, a weathered, craggy-voiced tyrant haunted by the fear that the man he's sure is dead will somehow return. Called "extraordinary uncompromising in the utmost" by the Los Angeles Times, Man in the Wilderness is fury come to vivid life. No other man would have lasted a day, but Zach Bass triumphs in the adventure of a lifetime.
