Maysville

Deep in the Appalachian Mountains, in the late 1920's 13-year-old Teddy Rogers is devastated by the death of his best friend Willy Stamper. Three days later Buck, Willy's father, seeks revenge on the child, kidnaps him, and forces him to a life of hard labor on his farm. Four years later, Teddy escapes to the town of Maysville, where he finds a job, love and a promising future. But he is soon haunted and hunted by the ghosts of his past. In order to break free, Teddy must confront his demons to find any sort of happiness.
