National Geographic returns to the heart of Utah canyon country to visit DogTown, part of the largest no-kill animal facility in the United States - The Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. At any given time, the sanctuary provides a home for hundreds of dogs and is the last hope for dogs that have no place left to go. Dogtown: New Beginnings follows the story of the dedicated team of experts that works to give these dogs rehabilitation, redemption, and a chance for a loving home. This collection includes a special episode that follows the journeys of four of the most challenging dogs rescued from a property owned by former NFL quarterback Michael Vick. Watch Cherry, Meryl, Denzel, and Georgia as they try to overcome their violent pasts and live healthier, happier lives. The DVD features five full programs: "New Beginnings, " "Project Rescue," "New Lives," "Road to Recovery," and "Saving the Michael Vick Dogs."
