Wolfgang is an actor in Los Angeles. For 30 years he's been trying to connect with his father, Walter, who left his mother after a brief affair -- not knowing she was pregnant with Wolfgang -- to pursue his own career as an actor in Germany. Now Wolfgang has been cast in a Hollywood film and uses his position to get Walter, now living in Austria and still unaware of his son's existence, a part playing his father in the film about a family reunion.
