Railroad Police

This program traces 150 years of American history beginning with the gunfighters and Pinkertons who protected the trains from bandits like Jesse James and Butch Cassidy in the 19th century, through the early part of this century where tough \"bulls\" or \"cinder-dicks\" battled hoboes over thousands of miles of track, up to the present day where modern surveillance and detection techniques help safeguard America's railroads, employees and passengers.
