Rebellious Daughters

Runaway teens Claire and Babe are lured to the big city when Joe Gilman promises them modeling jobs at his exclusive Fifth Avenue salon. Gilman quickly charms pretty Claire into earning extra money in his lucrative side business - enticing the husbands of his wealthy clients into compromising situations with young models and blackmailing them. When Claire demands a larger cut, threatening to blow the whistle, Gilman has her murdered. As Babe edges closer to the truth about her friend's death, she finds it increasingly difficult to escape with her own life.

Rebellious Daughters marks Jean Yarbrough's first foray into feature films. He is best remembered for The Devil Bat (1941), House of Horrors (1946), and for his work with Abbott And Costello on several films as well as their later hit TV show.
