The Big Wheel

Billy Coy is a tough Irish lad with dreams of making it big and a taste for trouble. The fearless Billy claws his way up the racing ladder, disregarding the consequences of his reckless drinking and womanizing. Uncle Red Stanley (Thomas Mitchell) supports Billy all the way to the glory of the Indianapolis 500, where the furious thrills of speed and alcohol threaten to derail Billy's raceway ambitions.
