Kirk Douglas must choose between orders and conscience in this intense psychological drama costarring Nick Adams and Robert Walker, jr. in his screen debut. As the Korean War winds down, Sgt. Briscoe (Douglas) and his men (Adams and Walker, jr.) capture an enemy pilot (Enrique Magalona) who's just bombed a hospital and school.
