    Pretty good

I hope someday WAC will come out with the version of this film that stars Ronald Coleman. This however is an entertaining film, nonetheless. Good extras with the silent version of this film.

    Amazing Technicolor show case!

I hadn’t seen this film since watching it on tv many years ago. This Blu-ray is a revelation and we are lucky to have Warner Archive who are really hitting it out of the park with these restorations.

The film itself is a joy, Stewart Granger and Deborah Kerr with lots of chemistry. James Mason as the cheeky Rupert of Hentzau steals every scene he is in.

This gave me a wonderful gentleman’s matinee, as my wife puts it. Top marks from me.

A sensational release of the famous swashbuckler in Technicolor!

This wonderful adventure has a superb cast featuring swordsman extraordinaire Stewart Granger in the title role, the great James Mason as the villain, with lovely Deborah Kerr splendidly suitable as the hero's love interest. You can't go wrong, plus this release includes the 1922 silent version starring Ramon Novarro as an extra added attraction! This is one Warner Archive release that no one should pass on obtaining.
