Violated

A Manhattan prostitute is murdered by a maniac, her body brutally slashed and scalped. A series of similar grisly crimes follow. Homicide detectives are convinced the slasher is mentally deranged, but are left with few clues. They are forced to turn to unorthodox measures, using a beautiful young photographer's model as bait, in an a desperate attempt to lure the killer into his next crime.

Violated is a suspenseful forgotten noir, beautifully photographed by cinematographer Pat Rich, often showing off the charms of famous stripper Lili Dawn. The haunting score is provided by guitar ace Tony Mottola, who did extensive studio work with Frank Sinatra and Perry Como as well as a later stint with Doc Severinson's Orchestra on The Tonight Show. Low- budget film distributor William Mishkin produced, wrote and appeared in this sleaze classic.
