Walking Back (Silent)

Smoke Thatcher intends to borrow his dad's car and enjoy a night out with his girl Patsy. But Dad learns that Smoke is behind in his schoolwork and angrily puts his parental foot down. Smoke steals a neighbor's car only to find himself in a demolition derby "car fight" with a drunken romantic rival. Needing fast money for repairs, Smoke takes a job as driver for Beaut Thibaut - unaware that Beaut is a wanted fugitive planning to use Smoke as a pawn in his next bank heist.

A story of reckless youth (class of 1928), Walking Back mixes drama, comedy and automotive mayhem, starting with a bumper-car battle between Smoke and his rival, then climaxing with a chase through city streets with the viewer getting a harrowing driver's-eye view of the action!
