    Time Capsule

    An American who thought he under stood Japanese culture finally understands the responsibility underlying the expectation. A Hanson Brothers script that doesn’t quite balance. If you are expecting top notch Asian action sequences, this isn’t for you. What this movie does well is allow Mitchum and Takakura to use their expressions to carry and convey the inner turmoils of their characters.

    The director’s commentary is insightful and interesting.

    Tha Yakuza

    Interesting movie. Not one of Mitchum's best, but a good effort. Good cast including Brian Keith and Richard Jordan, his cast mate in the great Friends Of Eddie Coyle. Solid B picture.
